My first love in music beginning in the late 1940's was 4 part Southern Gospel Quartet Music. My father Aldon D. Utz was lead singer of what they called the Bow-Tie Quartet along with 3 of my cousins. My mother Alma Louise Utz played piano.

Formed in the fall of 2012, this foursome quickly bonded through their involvements with the Westminster Chorus and Masters of Harmony, two well-renowned choruses in the Barbershop Harmony Society.
